Mysteries Of Our Past

When I look back at our history, reflecting on sites that have continued to baffle us even to this day. Given the amount of time the Earth has been around, and our current understandinding of evolution, there remain moments of changes that defies the very core of what Mainstream Academia deems as irrefutable science. How strange that an ideology that claims to be 'the pursuit of knowledge' can be as dogmatic as some hardline religious fanatics. To be so closed minded as to just flat out deny even the SLIGHTEST possibility that there are even MORE layers to the human history.
I think of places like Gobekle Tepe in Turkey, Sacsayhuayman in South America, Stonehenge in the UK, and so many other places, all of which have anomalies that speak to the possibility that humanity and civilization may need to be re-examined.
There is enough evidence to atleast support the idea that something happened at some point that reset humanity on a global level. And that the remnants of our species almost faded out, but somehow survived and rebuilt on what was left over, forgetting where they came from over time.
And now here we are, centuries later, looking to a future with no clear memory of where we once were. Will we make the same mistakes of our ancestors, bringing humankind to the brink of extinction? If we survive our foolishness, will our grandchildren remember our mistakes?
Will we survive the next mistake?
