The recent buzz on the internet regarding Ilhan Omar being removed from Congress, having her citizenship revoked, and being deported has caused a cacophony of chatter on social media. But we need to be careful here, as this is not something that can just be done at the snap of a finger. The legal process alone can be daunting. The process to make this happen would be extremely costly, lengthy, and politically charged. But I don't want to talk about this, I'd rather discuss the issue of somebody from one of the most corrupt countries in the world telling America how to be a country. If we look at the ranking of corruption, according to the CPI score, Somalia ranked #1 in overall corruption. How does someone from a corrupt country like Somalia dictate to Americans how a country should be? The chart below ranked the top 10 most corrupt countries in the world.

Ranking "most corrupt countries" globally is subjective and depends on definitions of corruption, legal violations (e.g., systemic bribery, abuse of power), human rights violations (e.g., torture, arbitrary detention), and war crimes (e.g., genocide, unlawful killings). I'll base this on data from reputable sources like Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI, which scores countries on perceived public sector corruption, 0=highly corrupt to 100=very clean), Human Rights Watch (HRW) reports on abuses, and International Criminal Court (ICC) or UN investigations into war crimes. Note: This isn't exhaustive or official—corruption evolves, and data is as of mid-2025. I've focused on the bottom 10 from CPI 2024 (latest available), cross-referenced with recent violations.Top 10 Most Corrupt Countries (Based on CPI Scores, with Key Violations)Here's a table summarizing the lowest CPI scores (indicating highest perceived corruption), alongside documented legal, human rights, and war crimes issues. Sources are cited inline.Rank

Also, another thing worth noting is the fact that the US does not even crack the top 10. And this information is provided by organizations such as the UN, which hold animosity toward the US.

If this doesn't make you think, I don't know what will!
